Together with the technological developments and digitalization trends, the risks and the threats facing the security of the world have started to get more serious. Therefore, the regulations to cover and prevent all the potential crimes have become stricter than ever before. Though government regulations and compliance are already in place, there is a huge room for improvement to align with the current hybrid trends. While every employee is working from different locations within their home network, the chances of risks are more than double than it was earlier. Moreover, the employee aligning with regulations and compliance requirements is also a tough task to monitor. As organizations begin planning for the transition from temporary work- from-home (WFH) to more permanent hybrid environments, they will have to deliberately review the existing policies. This will mean cultivating a culture of compliance and breaking down silos to craft cross-functional solutions for the novel problems. As such, compliance professionals need to be able to adjust on the fly and continue their crucial work. Bridging this gap with compliance solutions and the way businesses are trying to deal with is GRC Outlook Magazine. Our team of researchers, industry veterans, and CIOs have analyzed numerous solution providers who are creating a difference in the compliance space and have created a special edition on compliance solutions to make your transition smoother. We hope this edition adds value to your compliance requirements. Voice of the Editor THE RISING STRUGGLE, REMOTE WORK AND COMPLIANCE! As a result of today’s digital transformation, the complexity of cloud security and compliance have become major challenges for enterprises and organizations. Cloud software vendors, SaaS vendors, and enterprises of all sizes are harnessing the power of the cloud to enter new markets, empower their hybrid workforces, and capture new revenue opportunities. These organizations not only need to get their applications to the cloud, and to market, faster than ever before, but they need to do it in a way that assures they are both secure and compliant. This creates a host of challenges for enterprises and their DevOps, security, and compliance teams. From a bird’s eye view, there seem to be three specific problems these teams are facing. The first problem is around the complexity associated with cloud environments, technologies, and tools, as well as the increased costs and risks that can occur as a result of human errors. The second problem is solving security and compliance requirements in the cloud. And the third problem is around aligning technologies and tools with the customer’s business requirements. This is where Anitian is creating a difference with a sole mission to deliver solutions that automate security and compliance in the cloud. Next >
